Though my standard webpage is with regard to long hair,
I feel that it is very important to place this page here
in an effort to reach many more women and hopefully make them
aware of how very real breast cancer is, and how important
it is to be tested for it as early as possible.
It doesn't hurt to see the absolutely beautiful headcovers either!

When it all comes down, hair should be the least of one's concerns.
It comes and it goes, and it will grow back.





After a mammogram scare one year, though the tests proved inconclusive,
the thoughts at the time that ran through my head ranged from
"Oh my gosh, what about my hair?" to "Forget the hair, what about your life?"

Over time I have begun to see hair in a different light.

I searched the internet to find head covers in the event I should ever lose my hair.
Along the way, I discovered that although there were some of the sweetest souls
on long hair sites familiar to me, there were many more wonderful women out there
I was in awe of, who had no hair at all.



What I found at Headcovers.com were some of the most gorgeous head adornments I had ever seen,
and so I provide for you below the links and a few photos of them.
There are but a few of the items featured here.
Their website features dozens and dozens of beautiful designs
at very attractive prices.

Whether you have been affected by cancer or not, I think that you will find
these beautiful head covers to be very stylish, affordable and so very feminine.


I just felt that in a time when a woman might lose her hair,
even if she did not, these head pieces deserved to be seen and
breast cancer awareness paid more attention to.


If I am able to get just one woman to take the time to think about cancer,
do a self-exam, see a doctor or speak to someone about it, anything,
then it has been worth the time it took to create this page.
And if just one more woman is able to purchase a beautiful headcover
regardless of hair, then I'm certain Danielle will be thrilled to have your business.
