FERTILIZING YOUR HOLLYHOCKS...
Provided for you byWuv'n Acres©

TO FERTILIZE OR NOT TO FERTILIZE?

I am not going to advise you to do the following, but I dose my hollys with a good portion of recycled chicken intake.
(Yep, we're talking chicken poop, folks!)
Not too much, I heavily water my hollys, lay the fertilizer and do not water
again until the hocks are due a drink.
This prevents the strong burn of fresh fertilizer.
While I have luck with this, you may need to experiment with your soil
to find whether your soil would benefit from such.

Plants indeed enjoy being fed just as we do. While a steady diet of rice may keep you alive,
you'll surely not thrive for long. Same goes for your plants.
